Ajax finishes their Eredivisie campaign with the assurance of holding fifth place in the league standings, a position they have already secured.

However, for Vitesse, the situation is different. Their upcoming match marks their final appearance in the top-flight league before facing relegation, a consequence of the recent deduction of 18 points.
