It will be the second meeting between the Utah Jazz and the Phoenix Suns in three days. Thanks to outstanding performances from Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, Phoenix won 131–128 on Friday. The Suns will try to build on their two-game winning streak against the Jazz. Due to a lower back issue, Bradley Beal will miss the rematch as well.
Even after a huge night for Durant and Booker, the Jazz never lost control of the game. If not for KD's game-winning three-pointer that dashed Utah's dreams of victory, they could have had a shot to win. With 37 points, Jordan Clarkson had an incredible performance. For the Jazz to tie the Suns in their season series, they will need another big play from him or Lauri Markkanen.
Will Hardy, the coach of the Jazz, said after their defeat to the Suns that Kevin Durant is simply a mismatch for any form of defense. They will make another attempt to stop one of the most lethal scorers in the game tonight. Devin Booker is yet another issue Utah needs to deal with. In the aforementioned game, the shooting guard served as Phoenix's main creator of opportunities and was faultless.
The whole Friday night game between the Suns and the Jazz featured back-and-forth passes. Jordan Clarkson was hot, too, but so was Kevin Durant. Bradley Beal was not in the game for Phoenix, but Walker Kessler was not for Utah. The fans were enthralled with the seesaw battle. For some reason, the Jazz were unable to overcome their home crowd and win.
In tonight's rematch, more of the same thrilling back-and-forth is anticipated. It will be up to Clarkson, Lauri Markkanen, and one or two of the starters to keep up with KD and Booker, who are an explosive combination. The Jazz will stand a solid chance of getting even with the Suns if they can accomplish that.
In three of his last four games, Kevin Durant has scored at least thirty-one points. For Kevin Durant, the over/under point prop is 30.5. For an over, bettors earn -104, and for an under, -120. He could easily cross that boundary given the manner he has been scoring.
This season, Devin Booker is scoring 29.5 points per contest on average. In his last three games, he scored 31, 31, and 24 points. For him, the over/under points prop is 27.5. Gamblers receive -110 for under and -102 for over.
Getting his colleagues ready is Booker's main responsibility. It could be a little too high to top, but he will search for his shots when the team needs them.
