The Danish-born manager's grin would have only grown wider when Sparta faced Jablonec in their top-flight matchup on Saturday. His team cruised to a 5-1 victory away from home to make it four wins in a row in the 2023–24 season thus far.
At the weekend, there were many individual masterworks, including two goals from the back by Martin Vitik, three assists from Qazim Laci, and one goal and two assists from Kaan Kairinen as Sparta scored five goals in a thrilling first half.
A first group-stage appearance since 2005-06 is unquestionably a realistic goal. Copenhagen's perfect start to the new season on both the domestic and international fronts came to an abrupt end after they defeated Icelandic underdogs Briedablik by eight goals in the second qualifying round. Sparta's defensive strength was too much for Copenhagen to handle.

After a four-game homestand, Copenhagen is now back on the road.
