Real Madrid vs Barcelona

The final stage of the tournament will be held in King Abdullah Sports City on Sunday evening when Real Madrid Barcelona meet in the final match of the Spanish Super Cup 2025.

After the first semi-final on the Wednesday, Barcelona defeated Athletic Bilbao 2-0 on Thursday Real Madrid in the second semi-final had also a easy victory against Mallorca having dispatched of them 3-0.

Real Madrid have already won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Intercontinental Cup this season, and so will be out for a third trophy on the Sunday evening and three more can follow in the Spanish League, Champions league and the Copa del Rey.

One might argue that Los Blancos were far from impressive throughout much of the first half of the season, but there have been some encouraging portents of a turnaround in recent weeks, which would bode ill for rivals both domestically and in the Champions League.

The lossses for Ancelotti’s side have arrived in a five-match winning streak in the Spanish First division and cup match –victories over Valencia, Deportiva Minera and a resounding 3-0 over Mallorca.
