Monday's NBA game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Portland Trail Blazers will take place at the Wells Fargo Center. The Blazers (27-34) are ranked 12th in the Western Conference, and the Sixers (21-38) are ranked 11th in the Eastern Conference.

After defeating the Warriors 126-119 on Saturday night to snap their miserable nine-game losing run, the Philadelphia 76ers will be looking to gain some momentum.

The squad shot an amazing 52% from the field thanks to a huge effort by Quentin Grimes, who scored 44 points on 18 of 24 shooting and Kelly Oubre Jr., who added 20 points.

The Sixers are mid-table in terms of points against (113.5), yet they are still in the bottom five in terms of points scored per game (109.2).

In the meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers, who lost 133-129 in overtime to the Cavaliers last night, will be hoping to get back into the win column.

Anfernee Simons and Tounami Camara combined for 46 points, while Deni Avdija recorded a triple-double of 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.

The Blazers rank 23rd in the league with an average of 110.5 points per game this season, while they give up 114.4 points per game defensively (18th overall).

The Portland Trail Blazers' last game was an away loss. The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse 133-129 (OT). Deni Avdija scored 30 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists in a triple-double masterpiece.

The Philadelphia 76ers prevailed in their most recent home game. At Wells Fargo Center, they defeated the Golden State Warriors 126-119. Guerschon Yabusele scored 18, Kelly Oubre Jr. scored 20, and Quentin Grimes scored 44 points.

The Sixers defeated the Blazers in their most recent meeting. The score at Moda Center was 125-103. Each side has won five of the last ten head-to-head encounters.

Despite finishing in the bottom of the Western Conference, the Blazers are led by a unique talent in Anfernee Simons.

The 25-year-old is still performing well even if his stats are slightly down than they were the previous season. Simons is hitting 36.8% from 3-point range and scoring 18.7 points on average per game.
