Olympiacos is playing phenomenally. In a “believe it or not” scenario, they have been defeated only once in their last 23 games across all competitions. Currently, they are fifth in the EuroLeague standings with a record of 21-12.

Olympiacos is having an incredible game. It may surprise you to learn that in their last 23 games in all competitions, they have only lost once. With a 21-12 record, they are now ranked fifth in the EuroLeague rankings.

Georgios Bartzokas, the head coach, has cause for satisfaction. The combination he put in place at Olympiacos has proven to be successful. Unquestionably, nobody anticipated this fresh ascent and a fight for the crown, particularly with the loss of the team Sasha Vezenkov – Kostas Sloukas. But Alec Peters has done a fantastic job of replacing Vezenkov in that capacity.

Nigel Williams-Goss and Thomas Walkup, in place of Sloukas, manage Olympiacos' offense and seriously hinder rival point guards. Isaiah Canaan is a threat no matter how far out from the rim he shoots from, while Kostas Papanikolaou has been more consistent towards the conclusion of the season. It's unclear how much longer this will last because Moustapha Fall is doing a good job of replacing the wounded Milutinov.

Over the previous several months, Fenerbahce's form has significantly improved. They aren't feeling well going into Piraeus, though, having suffered two straight losses to Anadolu Efes in a span of only four days. They are now sixth in the EuroLeague rankings with a 20-13 record.

Fenerbahce's shortcomings were most apparent for a while, but once Lithuanian head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius took over, things started to come together. From an offensive standpoint, the club appears to be a well-oiled machine that can score ten or more points in each game.

Nigel Hayes-Davis and Tarik Biberovic are two players who have made significant advancements and consistently performed well. While Nick Calathes has the ability to change the course of the game at any time, Scottie Wilbekin, Marko Guduric, and the other members of the backcourt still have space for growth. Fenerbahce's excellence becomes evident when you include the monsters in the paint.

In the EuroLeague playoffs, this matchup directly decides the opponent. The dilemma of whether Olympiacos or Fenerbahce wants Barcelona or Monaco as their opponent in the quarterfinals comes based on whatever team finishes fifth or sixth.

This game, in contrast to many others in the 34th round of the EuroLeague, is significant, therefore we anticipate tension, pressure from both sides, and a desire to win. They have just once combined to score more than the given margin in the previous six games. We think they won't succeed in doing so this time either.
