This doesn’t guarantee they’ll suddenly transform into a powerhouse with stifling defense and dynamic, efficient offense required for a deep playoff run. However, as history shows, the playoffs are unpredictable, giving this squad and their coach an opportunity to rewrite the story of what’s been a challenging season so far.

To move forward, they’ll need to overcome a surprising Detroit Pistons team that defied expectations. Once dismissed as a lottery-bound squad, the Pistons made history by tripling their win total from the previous season.
