When the Seattle Seahawks take on the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, teams vying for a berth in the NFL postseason picture for the second consecutive season will collide. Under coach Pete Carroll, the Seahawks (2-1), who have won two straight games and are coming off a 37-27 victory over the Carolina Panthers, have made the playoffs in 10 of the last 13 seasons. The Giants (1-2), who have advanced to the postseason seven times since 2007, were defeated 30-12 in San Francisco in their most recent game. Seattle and New York have each won 10 of their 20 encounters overall. Running back Saquon Barkley of the Giants is out due to an ankle injury.

8:15 p.m. ET is the scheduled time for kickoff in East Rutherford, New Jersey's MetLife Stadium. the Seahawks' ability to cover
In his tenth game in a row with 100 or more receiving yards, wide receiver DK Metcalf led the Seahawks last week with six catches totaling 112 yards. He will try to make it his sixth straight road game with five or more receptions and his fifth straight game on the road with 70 or more receiving yards. In their most recent encounter with the Giants, he scored on a receiving touchdown. Metcalf leads the club with a total of 15 catches for 234 yards (15.6 average) and one score in 2023. He also has four big plays of at least 20 yards, including one of 34 yards.
