Dallas Mavericks is planning to play the next NBA match against Memphis Grizzlies which both of the teams want to have a victory. While Memphis has fallen to third in the Western Conference, Dallas is now ranked only seventh.

Memphis Grizzlies have won only one of the four recent matches and have failed in two consecutive matches. This dip has seen them tumble lower down the rankings with regards to the race for the Western Conference throne.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo’s men, who have posted a 23-13 record, are 7.5 games behind the Bucks. They are coming off a 121-113 loss on the road against the Warriors to complete a five-game road trip if you are interested.

Memphis still has impairments and has eight players on the list of injuries including Ja Morant.

The Mavericks won the first time these two teams met this season 121-116 at home one month ago. They will hope for a similar result as they prepare to end a four-match losing streak.

Jason Kidd’s side is in a very bad moment right now and they have only won one match in six games. That has affected them most due to the absence of Luka Doncic and most recently Kyrie Irving.

Irving and Doncic are their top shooters, and the only players on the team with an average number of more than 20 points. The Mavs lost 134-122 at home to the Cavaliers in the last meeting.

The good news is the Grizzlies have been terrible on the inside scoring for the past two weeks, which should benefit Dallas even more inside – where they are fourth worst in the league the past two weeks defending in this area. The bad news is Memphis is sixth in 3-point shooting in those 14 days, per Cleaning the Glass, and Dallas’ 3-point shooting has been terrible since the loss of Doncic.

The Dallas Mavericks have dropped their last four games. The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated them 134-122 in a recent home game at American Airlines Center. Klay Thompson scored 16 points, Jaden Hardy scored 17, and Quentin Grimes scored 26 points.

The Memphis Grizzlies have now suffered back-to-back losses after their most recent game on the road. At Chase Center, the Golden State Warriors prevailed 121-113. Desmond Bane finished with 22 points and 10 assists, Jake LaRavia finished with 17 points and 10 assists, and Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 23 points.

The Mavs prevailed in their most recent meeting at American Airlines Center. defeating the Grizzlies 121-116 in the process. In their last ten head-to-head encounters, both teams have won five games.

After adding defense and interior scoring a season ago, the Dallas Mavericks were a well-rounded club, and now things couldn't be worse. Following an impressive run in December, Kyrie Irving missed a few games due to a back injury, and Luka Doncic faltered and was ultimately benched because of a persistent calf problem.

In their first game since losing Irving, Dallas defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers by 122 points on Friday, but it wasn't quite a flawless effort. To boost their scoring production, the Mavericks dominated the glass and made a staggering 30 trips to the free-throw line while only shooting 43% from the field and 27.3% from beyond the arc.
