Juventus a looking forward making it along sequence of successive wins over Torino in this season’s edition of the Turin derby scheduled for Saturday evening.

After dropping points in midweek in Europe, Juve must now look to not be beaten in a record 19th consecutive Derby della Mole against their neighbours.

Juventus won 1-1 in Lille on Tuesday night in the Champions League match as Dusan Vlahovic scored his 50th goal for Juventus by successfully completing the penalty after Francisco Conceicao simulated a fall to the ground.

Considering that Juve got a only a single point from the match, it is only two points behind the top eight halfway through the new league phase to offer them hope to qualify directly to the last 16.

Nevertheless, the Bianconeri is currently at the sixth spot in the Serie A league, and have shown a slightly weaker performance recently.

Thiago Motta’s men were 2-0 down in a thrilling Derby d’Italia before holding Inter Milan to a 4-4 stalemate in the last match of last month; subsequently, they have done well to recover from 0-2 and 1-2 setbacks to earn a point against newly promoted Parma.

They stabilised themselves last week when they defeated Udinese 2-0 and stood as the only club that has not lost a match in Italy’s Serie A – but have also not won half as many games as they have drawn in 11 matches this season.

Juventus has not lost in 19 Serie A matches since early April – 12 of which have been drawn, meaning that they’re currently holders of the longest current unbeaten run across Europe’s top five leagues.

They also managed to maintain a clean score in 12 matches of that sequence which include only a match of goal-less with Torino thereby ending the sequence of defeating old fo against in 2022.

Toro has been so obedient in the Derby della Mole that they have lost 13 of their previous 18 away Serie A games against Juventus and won none.

Their recent performance also indicates that they will have a difficult time winning anything in Saturday's match; since losing 1-0 to Fiorentina last week, Paolo Vanoli's team has lost all three of their previous games.

Vanoli, who was earlier praised for his team's impressive start in Turin, is now under fire for his team's subsequent decline in the rankings. In addition to losing five of six games in the league, they were eliminated from the Coppa Italia.

Both of Torino's most recent losses ended without a goal, and their penalty-box productivity has undoubtedly plummeted since captain and star striker Duvan Zapata suffered a season-ending injury.

However, the Granata may potentially improve against their fiercest opponents after finishing just outside the top half of Serie A following 11 rounds of play.

After a hectic schedule of games, Thiago Motta is certain to make changes to his starting lineup for the Turin derby. Tim Weah, Weston McKennie, and youthful full-back Nicolo Savona are all vying for promotion from the bench.

Danilo has returned to the team following a UEFA ban, but Vitus will be without one defender, Bremer, who was just declared out for the remainder of the season.

Douglas Luiz, another Brazil international, made a full recovery from his injury earlier this week, while Nico Gonzalez (thigh) and Arkadiusz Milik (knee) are still awaiting treatment.

Che Adams, the Scotland striker, is facing a fitness test prior to Saturday's late kickoff after suffering a thigh strain against Fiorentina, and Torino is concerned about his possible absence.
