Kayserispor vs Antalyaspor

Kayserispor and Antalyaspor are set to clash on Monday evening, with both teams aiming to officially secure their place in the Turkish Super Lig for next season.

Kayserispor currently hold 41 points, sitting seven above the drop zone, while Antalyaspor are slightly better off with 43. Both clubs also have a game in hand over the highest-ranked team in the bottom four, giving them a slight advantage as the season winds down.

The home side extended their unbeaten streak to six matches with a 1-1 draw at Alanyaspor in their last outing—a timely run that has played a major role in steering them away from relegation danger.

Under Sergej Jakirovic, who took over in January, Kayserispor have lost just twice in 13 matches, steadily collecting the points needed to climb the table. They’ve been especially strong at the Kadir Has Stadium, where they’ve won six straight and kept five clean sheets in their last seven home games.

That strong home form could help them break a four-match winless run against Antalyaspor (two draws, two defeats), who came out on top in the reverse fixture earlier this season.

Antalyaspor, meanwhile, have struggled with inconsistency. Their 1-0 win over Konyaspor last week snapped a brief two-game winless stretch, but problems persist—particularly on the road. They haven’t won away in their last five league matches (three losses, two draws) and are winless in their last six away games across all competitions.

Offensive struggles remain a key issue for the visitors, with just 35 goals scored—the joint-third lowest in the league—while their defense has allowed 55, highlighting ongoing vulnerabilities at both ends of the pitch.

To make matters worse, Antalyaspor haven’t claimed a victory in Kayseri since 2021, managing only a draw and two defeats in their three most recent visits.

Striker Stephane Bahoken will not play for Kayserispor until 2026 due to an Achilles injury.

Although neither Dimitrios Kolovetsios nor Yaw Ackah were anticipated to start, Duckens Nazon will lead the line in his place.

Kenan Piric will not play for Antalyaspor due to an injury, so backup goalie Abdullah Yigiter will start.
