In the NBA on Saturday, the Boston Celtics will play the Brooklyn Nets. The Celtics have had a fantastic start to the year.

With two blowout victories in their last two games, the championship contenders have won their first four games. Alongside their new colleagues, Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday, recent arrivals, have flourished, while Derrick White is getting better.

Ben Simmons hasn't yet developed into the interior scorer he was with the Philadelphia 76ers, but the Nets have won three of their first five games. Thankfully, Mikal Bridges and Cam Thomas have both increased their game and are creating waves on the offensive end.

However, the Nets have a difficult assignment ahead of them as they attempt to breach Boston's formidable defense, which has been stifling teams this season, and halt their prolific offense. It will be challenging for Brooklyn coach Jacques Vaughn to come up with a plan to hand the Celtics their first defeat of the year.

Arguably, the NBA's best top-six rotation belongs to the Celtics. Since Kristaps Porzingis was added to the team in the offseason, Al Horford has become the de facto sixth man for the squad.

Due to his height and versatility as a scorer, Porzingis is giving opponents match-up nightmares as they try to contain Boston's abundance of offensive weapons.

The Celtics are an exceptional three-level scoring team, and the Nets may find it difficult to contain them as their previous four opponents have found it difficult to guard everyone.

Ben Simmons, though, has demonstrated that he is capable of becoming among the NBA's top defenders. He may make a big impact for the Nets if he can lock in at that end of the court.

Mikal Bridges and Cam Thomas will be players the Celtics have to be wary of. They're doing well in their positions in Brooklyn's attack, and when the Celtics switch to their incredibly successful 2-2-1 press defense, they could be hard to contain as opponents.

The coaching staff under Joe Mazzulla is gifted and experienced, and they have contributed to the development of the Celtics system on both sides of the court. Although Vaughan has performed admirably since on the bench in Brooklyn, Boston's coaching staff may have more skill and depth than him.

The starting five for Boston is strong enough to be an All-Star group on its own. Each member of the starting lineup possesses exceptional defensive and offensive talents. Tatum and Brown are both NBA players. Arguably, Holiday is the world's best guard defender. White is the NBA's finest guard at stopping shots, and Porzingis appears to be back to full strength.

In contrast, the starting lineup for the Nets is Dorian Finney-Smith, Mikal Bridges, Ben Simmons, Cam Thomas, and Spencer Dinwiddie.

The Nets' injury-plagued absence of Nic Claxton will impact them when they play the Celtics. The Nets might find it difficult to match Boston's size and might allow mismatches to occur all over the court. However, given how well they have begun the season, Thomas and Bridges might be useful offensive possibilities.

Tatum started the new season with a modified shot profile. He's operating on the block more often and attacking the rim more. Tatum has been blocking scoring opportunities and has also seemed strong defensively.

Brown has significantly improved following a challenging game in the Celtics' season opener against the New York Knicks. The All-NBA wing has been playing with fierce intensity, and Brooklyn may find it challenging to stop him from scoring.
