British Virgin Islands vs Jamaica

The hosts have struggled offensively, failing to score in seven of their last eight games, joining Anguilla as the only teams yet to find the net across all six CONCACAF groups. Defensively, they’ve been porous, conceding 10 goals in three qualifiers and allowing three or more goals in four of their last seven matches across all competitions.

Ranked 207th by FIFA, the fourth-lowest globally, Chris Kiwomya’s British Virgin Islands are winless in their last 10 games, with eight losses and two draws in their most recent four. The Nature Boys, desperate to avoid a fourth straight home defeat, have won two of their last three matches at A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground.

Jamaica, despite leading 3-0 against Dominica, allowed two late goals, though their dominance was clear with six big chances created compared to conceding two of three shots on target. Steve McClaren’s Reggae Boyz, coming off a penalty shootout loss to Nigeria (2-2 draw) on May 31, have conceded five goals in their last two games after allowing just two in their prior four. However, their attack is in fine form, scoring eight goals in their last three matches.

Jamaica were unbeaten in five games before the Nigeria defeat, winning three. Their away form is inconsistent, with two wins, two losses, and a draw in their last six road games.
