The match takes place at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium where Al Ittihad hosts Al Riyadh with the goal of achieving victory and maintaining their top position in the Saudi Pro League table.

Al Ittihad currently leads the Saudi Pro League with four-point advantage after achieving consecutive draws followed by their guests who placed ninth after securing their Saturday victory.

On Thursday Al Ittihad will host their match at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium to regain their winning streak and boost their Saudi Pro League title campaign.

The Saudi Arabian outfit Nadi Al-Sha'ab runs a successful league campaign this season because they have maintained top-two position since nearly the beginning of the campaign and reached 58 points from 24 matches.

In their recent month and a half since September 27 the team led by Laurent Blanc has lost only one game from twenty contests while accumulating fifteen victories to secure their league lead position.

During the previous month Nadi Al-Sha'ab achieved four consecutive victories yet their current three matches ended in draws with Al Khaleej and Al Okhdood then followed by a 1-1 tie versus Al Quadisiya.

N'Golo Kante scored a late equalizer to earn a draw against Al-Okhdood in the 96th minute but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored first. With a four-point deficit to Al-Hilal post-forty matches, Al-Ittihad battles to claim their nineteenth domestic win of the season and extend their lead even more.

After ending a difficult run of form over the weekend, their guests will go to Jeddah looking for a second consecutive victory.

Al Riyadh had a great start to the 2024–25 season after finishing in 14th place the previous time around. At the end of January, they had gained 28 points from their first 18 games, winning eight of them and losing only six. This put them in seventh position.

But after that, Sabri Lamouchi's team would go through a bit of a downturn, losing their next five games in February and early March and drawing with Al-Hilal and Al Fayha in between losses to Al Kholood, Al Raed, and Al Quadisiya.
