However, before that, Tolunay Kafkas' squad secured their first win of the season with a convincing 3-1 victory over Sivasspor on September 18, effectively bringing an end to their four-game winless streak.

Presently, Ankaragucu finds itself in the 12th spot in the Super Lig standings, having accumulated six points out of a potential 18. Nevertheless, a successful weekend performance could propel them up the table, potentially allowing them to level with the seventh-placed Trabzonspor should they secure all three points.
