The Utah Jazz has been confined to the dressing room with a defeat in their last four games. In a recent home game on Delta Center they were defeated 105-104 by the LA Lakers. Lauri Markkanen shot 22, John Collins scored 21 and Collin Sexton managed to score 15.

Oklahoma City Thunder were defeated in the last match that they played on the road. Home team Houston Rockets get victory with score of 119-116 at Toyota Center. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander contributed 32 points on the night and Jalen Williams added 22 points with Isaiah Hartenstein totaling 19 point, 13 rebounds.

At their last face off the Thunder emerged victorious having defeated the Jazz. This was an okay game that was played to a 119-107 in favor of the hosts that played at the Paycom Center. There has been 10 times that the two teams have met each other and out of these the thunder has emerged the winner on six occasions.

NBA’s Utah Jazz has only 2 victories and 8 defeats in the ten last games. They are scoring 111.0 points per game, grabbing 44.2 rebounds, making 24.1 assists, getting 7.3 steals and 3.7 blocks per game, shooting field goals 46.9% and free throws 76. The average point per game of the opposition is 116.7 and rebounds average 39.9 per game.

Lauri Markkanen scores on average of 19.7, John Collins to rebound for 9.1 and Keyonte George for 5.4 assists, also a 2.8 (37.8) for 3 pointers.

The Thunder has played its past ten games, won 7 out of 10 and lost the rest 3 out of 10 contests. Scoring at a rate of 112.3 points, grabbing 42.0 rebounds, notching 25.3 assists, making 11.2 steals and earning 5.9 blocks and shooting a field goal percentage of 45.6% and free throw percentage of 80.4%. Their opponents make 105.1 points and 48.9 rebounds per game.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander averages 33.W Gordon averages 6.8 assists, while making 2.8 (40.6%) three pointers per game and Isaiah Hartenstein averages 6.9 rebounds.

I’ve already said that Lu Dort has got some highly-boosted performance indicators at the beginning of the winter schedule for the Oklahoma City Thunder . While he was aggressive after Toronto began the season with a series of games in the first half of October, the Canadian guard struggled with shooting for much of November.

Dort seemed to end that run in a 5-for-8 shooting performance against the Lakers last Friday where he scored 14 points in only 24 minutes because of fouls. But fouls would once more restrict Dort from playing at Houston on Sunday, as the talented player managed only 27 minutes having fouled out, scoring 6 points on 2 of 6 attempts.

Tuesday night’s game against the Utah Jazz appears to be exactly what’s needed to help Dort snap out of his shooting funk. Not only do the Thunder have one of the worst defenses in the NBA right now – they’re 29th in advanced defensive rating – but they hadn’t been at home in six games following the Christmas slate.

Dort believes that there is this drastic disparity of effective field goal shooting in the Paycom Center with a home average of 12.6 points per match scoring on 44 percent accuracy compared to 7.5 points per game and 36 percent accuracy on the road.

He increases the number of 3 point shots by a lot at home with 6.6 attempts and makes 2.9 of such shots (compared to making 1.4 of 3.9 at road games). The fifth most 3-point attempts are given to the opposition in Utah, which hits more than 14 threes per game against them (23rd).

The forecasts for Tuesday players differ not only by the level of the match but also by the increase in Dort and OKC. Models from 10.6 points for Fox that against the Jazz, and up to 13.7 points, I calculated 12.4 points for Dort.
