The Warriors' season began on Tuesday when they lost 108-104 to the Phoenix Suns at home as 3-point home favorites and failed to cover the Under (235.5). D With 27 points, Stephen Curry led Golden State, and in his Warriors debut, G Chris Paul finished with 14 points and a game-high nine assists.
With a 130-114 victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, the Kings covered as 2-point favorites, and the Over (234) came in. C Domantas Sabonis contributed 22 points and 12 rebounds, while F Harrison Barnes scored 33 points.

The Kings started the season strong, defeating Utah, while the Warriors faltered late in a game against a depleted Phoenix squad that was without G Bradley Beal.
In 2022–23, Golden State had a terrible road record, going 11–30 throughout the regular season. The Kings' home record was 23–18.
The Warriors did win their last two road games against Sacramento in the playoffs, but I won't bet on them to win, especially when they're playing one of the best teams in the Western Conference, until they prove they can be consistent away from home (apart from being consistently poor).
Last season, the Warriors had a terrible 13-34 ATS road record (postseason included).
Even if the Kings were just 20-24-1 ATS at home (including in the playoffs), it is still wiser to stay away from betting the Warriors away from home until they prove they are a different road team than they were the previous year.
Three of the four regular-season games between the Warriors and Kings in 2022–2023 saw fewer than 238 points scored overall.
In the playoffs from the previous season, four of their final six games ended with fewer than 235 total points.
