The Los Angeles Rams' expectations for the first half of the season were not met. They were down 3-3 and had three games remaining before their Week 10 bye, two of which were easily won. Regretfully, they lost against the Cowboys, wasted a lead against the Steelers, and played poorly without Matthew Stafford against the Packers.

The Rams are in serious need of a winning run going into the second half, and it needs to begin with today's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, who are 6-3 and whom the Rams thrashed 30-13 in Week 1. The Rams' chances of making the playoffs will be further diminished by a fourth straight loss; a victory would put them back on pace.

In their first game against Seattle, the Rams appeared to be a playoff club, but during the subsequent three weeks, they have really struggled. The run game hasn't been there without Kyren Williams, the secondary is performing far worse than it did at the beginning of the season, and the offense can't seem to put together two strong halves.

However, they have a fantastic chance to turn things around today when they play the Seahawks, a squad that only narrowly defeated the Commanders last week. The Rams are in far better shape than they have been after their bye, according to Sean McVay, who claims that this is their best health of the season.

The Seahawks are a highly vulnerable club, particularly in light of some of Geno Smith's subpar games. With Devon Witherspoon and Jamal Adams back, the defense is performing better. However, the Rams now have Cooper Kupp back, which wasn't the case in the first game.

LA should be able to contain Seattle's offense as long as Stafford's thumb is manageable and he doesn't make any costly mistakes deep in the Rams' own territory. In terms of defense, the key will be to deny DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett big plays, if the latter makes them.
