Le Havre vs Nantes

Le Havre will welcome Nantes on Sunday, aiming for a vital win that could intensify the fight to avoid relegation in Ligue 1.

Currently sitting in 16th place, Le Havre find themselves just six points behind 13th-placed Nantes, making this a crucial matchup for both teams.

Didier Digard's tenure at Le Havre has been under scrutiny, particularly after suffering nine defeats in their last 14 league matches. However, the team has managed to collect nine points from their most recent nine games, keeping them narrowly above the drop zone.

Despite falling 4-2 to a resurgent Lyon side in their previous outing, Le Havre had led the match until the final 12 minutes, a performance that could give them confidence heading into this fixture. Prior to that, they secured four points from games against Lens and Saint-Etienne, hinting at a possible turnaround in form.

That said, their struggles at Stade Océane remain a concern, having lost 10 of their 13 home matches this season while scoring just nine goals in the process.

Despite losing to Lyon before the international break, Digard may choose to go with the same Le Havre XI as long as there are no fitness difficulties.
