The Miami Heat are fighting to extend their NBA Playoff journey as they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 at the Kaseya Center on Monday night. Trailing 0-3 in the series, the Heat face elimination. Here’s a look at the game prediction.
Following a stronger performance in Game 2, there was hope that the Heat could compete more fiercely on their home court in Florida.
However, Game 3 was a tough blow for Heat supporters, with the team suffering a 124-87 defeat on Friday. Bam Adebayo topped the scoring with 22 points but struggled with six turnovers, while Davion Mitchell and Tyler Herro together added 29 points.
The Heat’s biggest challenge has been their lack of a consistent scoring leader. Although Tyler Herro showed potential earlier, his shooting accuracy has been inconsistent.
On the other side, the Cleveland Cavaliers raised their game in Game 3, showcasing their roster’s depth with 52 points from their bench.
After scoring 30+ points in the previous two games, Donovan Mitchell had a quieter outing with 13 points, but Jarrett Allen delivered 22 points, and De’Andre Hunter contributed 21 points off the bench.
The value on this bet is exceptional, especially considering it's often rare to find such value on a wager priced at -190. For context, a similar double result (or same-game parlay) in Oklahoma City's Game 4 against Memphis was priced at over -400.
Despite the Thunder being favored by two more points, that steep price was justified, given the psychological toll of a 3-0 series on an 8-seed. Still, -400 was a significant price.
Now, to get the same wager in the East at half the price is a real opportunity. Cleveland has been consistent in this series, having led at both halftime and the final buzzer in their last five meetings with the Heat, covering every game in 2025.
The Cavaliers made it clear in Game 3 that they are determined to wrap up this first-round series quickly. While the Heat may have pride on the line, the series is essentially over, and my prediction is that the Cavs will finish it off.
With a 7:30 p.m. ET tip-off on Monday, April 28, Cleveland is focused on advancing quickly, knowing their next opponent will be much tougher, either the Pacers or the Bucks. Completing the sweep of the Heat would give them valuable rest.
Once again, the value here is impressive, especially considering a similar bet was priced well beyond -400 in Oklahoma City's matchup against Memphis. The same opportunity in the East at half the price is hard to pass up, especially with the Cavaliers' strong form throughout the series.
