On Friday, February 14, the much-anticipated NBA All-Star Celebrity Game 2025 will take place, bringing together a variety of players, entertainers, and social media celebrities to kick off the NBA All-Star Weekend. The Golden State Warriors' longstanding home, Oakland Arena (previously Oracle Arena), will host this year's game in the Bay Area.
In contrast to the previous year, when Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe served as coaches, two iconic San Francisco sports figures—NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice and MLB home run champion Barry Bonds—will be leading the sidelines in the 2025 edition.
With lineups full of celebrities from many fields, fans can anticipate an exciting showdown between Team Bonds and Team Rice.
Entertainment celebrities will try to show off their basketball prowess when they play in the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at Oakland Arena on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. ET.
In addition to WNBA two-time All-Star Allisha Gray and former WNBA Champion Kayla Thornton, the squad also features two former NBA players, Baron Davis and Matt Barnes.
Other well-known figures include NBA trainer Chris Brickley, comedian and actor Druski, NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens, and singer-songwriter Shaboozey.
Throughout his career, Baron Davis averaged 16.1 points per game and 7.2 assists, making him one of the most underappreciated guards of his era.
The former All-Star who is now a sports presenter hasn't played in the NBA since 2012, but his passing and shooting skills will probably make him a strong candidate for MVP.
Both Chris Brickley and Allisha Gray are capable of challenging Davis.
Brickley, who was gifted enough to walk on to Louisville University in 2008, trained alongside some of the NBA's top players, and Gray has averaged 15 points per game for successive seasons.
Team Bonds ought to be able to defeat Team Rice in the end.
