The upcoming match on Friday brings together Bodrumspor who seek points for survival together with Fenerbahce who strive to protect their title ambitions.

The hosts stay one position and three points ahead of the relegation group while the visitors occupy the table below top spot Galatasaray by nine points after letting opponents catch up during the international break.

The team under the leadership of Jose Morais managed an outstanding turn in their performance and has risen from a poor start to achieve solid defensive results which propelled Bodrumspor towards survival.

The team maintains a league-cleansheet streak of seven matches which extended to eight matches across all tournaments. Morais' team now has four wins with two draws from their most recent eight games which include two Turkish Cup victories.

Bodrumspor knocked down Caykur Rizespor 2-0 in the middle of the match period by scoring through an own goal followed by Enis Bardhi's goal toward the end of the first hour of play.

Under Morais Fenerbahce will face their stiffest challenge yet at Bodrum but the defensive improvement shown by the hosts makes this encounter very diffferent from their previous 2-0 loss as visitors.

The narrow three-point lead that Bodrumspor has above the drop zone is far from certain, especially with tough games against Galatasaray and Besiktas yet to play.

Fenerbahce is still reeling from a disheartening goalless draw against Samsunspor at home. Despite having a numerical advantage for the last 15 minutes and 26 shots, including six on goal, they were unable to make the breakthrough.

Although Fenerbahce still has a game in hand, the Yellow Canaries' dreams of winning the title were dashed by that outcome, which increased the gap between them and Galatasaray to nine points.

Bodrumspor are grappling with a major goalkeeping dilemma as first-choice keeper Diogo Sousa is suspended and backup Gökhan Akkan is injured, forcing young talent Kerem Ersunar into the starting role.

The injury woes don’t end there for the hosts, with key players Taylan Antalyalı, Ahmet Aslan, Celal Dumanlı, and Hakkı Osman all unavailable due to fitness issues.

Fenerbahçe, meanwhile, have defensive headaches of their own, with Diego Carlos and Çağlar Söyüncü both injured—likely handing starts to Alexander Djiku and Yusuf Akçiçek in central defense.

Their midfield has also taken a hit, with Fred ruled out and both Jayden Oosterwolde and Rodrigo Becão sidelined long-term due to ACL injuries.

Let me know if you'd like any adjustments!
