Carlo Ancelotti’s side, the Spanish and European champions will take on Barcelona in their second match in the US tour as they prepare for the UEFA Super Cup against Europa League champions Atalanta BC on August 14. Real Madrid will then kick off their 2024-25 La Liga season with Mallorca on the 18th of August so it is going to be a very fast restart for the club, and it will also be interesting to see if the inactivity during the summer will cost them in the early games.

Value-wise, Los Blancos have strengthened their attack this summer with Endrick and Kylian Mbappe; however, Ancelotti has stated categorically that the transfer window is now shut, leaving the club with significant losses in the defense and midfield, particularly with the exit of Nacho and Toni Kroos.

Real Madrid will once again be the team to contend with for the title next season both domestically in Spain and in Europe, with the addition of Mbappe to their already impressive attack, and the versatile Endrick already earmarked to play a significant role in the new season at the Santiago Bernabeu for the Madrid giants in 2024-25.

Barcelona, on the other hand, began their preparations for the new season on Tuesday night with the match against the English Premier League champions Manchester City ending 2-2 in normal time but Barcelona won the penalty shoot out 4-1. The only new signing this summer, Pau Victor scored for the club in the 24th minute while Pablo Torre also got on the scoresheet; both players should gain some attention from newly appointed head coach Hansi Flick when the real preparations for the new season start.

Barcelona have two more friendly match lined up, next is with AC Milan on August 6 before they are scheduled to face Monaco in the Joan Gamper Trophy on August 12. The new season of the Catalan club will start on August 17th, 2024 against Valencia and the upcoming La Liga season promises to be very interesting for the team that starts a new page under the leadership of Flick.

Emi Martinez, Argentina's best goalkeeper, was on vacation following his country's Copa America victory, but Swedish stopper Robin Olsen filled in throughout the week. However, Olsen was forced out by injury, so Australia's Joe Gauci or Oliwier Zych, his substitute, should start in goal.

While all is going on, the Mexican champions will start their attack with American captain Henry Martin, who scored the game-winning goal in last season's championship playoff victory.

Recent additions Cristian Borja and Igor Lichnovsky are probably going to play in a back four, while former Feyenoord winger Javairo Dilrosun poses a danger on the right side. The Chilean playmaker Diego Valdes should start in midfield.

Barcelona hasn't done much in the transfer market, but they plan to add players before the window ends. A deal for Dani Olmo is reportedly moving well, but the team now anticipates losing out on Nico Williams.

Following his appearance at Euro 2024, Mbappe, a France international, has been granted an extended break and is not traveling with the Real Madrid team to the United States.

But Endrick did make his debut against Milan, and in his first Clasico, the Brazil international is expected to lead the line once more.

El Clasico is expected to cause tempers to boil at some point, and when Barcelona and Madrid play in New Jersey, there's a good chance a team-on-team brawl will break out.

In terms of appropriate behavior, viewers at home should find this American conference to be rather entertaining. The fact that both teams are severely lacking in players might perhaps create opportunities for periphery players to make an impression on Flick and Ancelotti.

With Vinicius perhaps making a return appearance, Madrid is the favorites and will be planning a confidence-boosting preseason win after defeating Barca three times in the previous campaign.
