Don't miss the action as Al-Hilal Riyadh takes on Al-Fateh in the Saudi Pro League! Witness top-tier football with live coverage and key highlights from this exciting clash.

It will turn out to be a match between two teams at extremes of the log as Al-Hilal is set to entertain Al Fateh this Thursday in match day 15 of the Saudi Pro League.

The hosts have accumulated 37 points, second only to Al Ittihad on that front, and the Role Model are at the very of the table, seven points from the club above them and having earned only six points in their 14 games.

Barely two weeks ago, a torturous penalty shootout departure in the quarterfinal stage of the King’s Cup left Al-Hilal desolate, but the side bounced back in style thrashing Al Orubah 5-0 at the Al Jouf University Sports Stadium last weekend.

The dissatisfaction was quickly taken out on the visitors as the team controlled the match, and after Ruben Neves opened with a penalty in the 16th minutes, Ali Albulayhi, Renan Lodi and Marcos Leonardo in second half ensured the rout.

That emphatic victory take them to 12 wins in 14 league matches, one draw and a solitary reverse – a 3-2 loss to Al Khaleej on November 23, which is the only blemish on their list of results in the top flight since the beginning of last year.

However, the mighty Boss have well and truly engrained themselves amongst the Saudi Pro League’s elite, having claimed the title six of the last eight years – including an invincible year in the previous season.

They are best placed for it this season taking into account their latest victory that saw them move to the top on the back of better goal difference than Al Ittihad whose own match did not go as planned.

The champions, who just seized their success this week could not dream to meet a more favorable opponent this week than one of the worst teams in the league, which in 14 meetings only won 1 time, tied 3 times and lost 10.

After Slaven Bilic left by mutual consent prior to the 2024–25 season, Al Fateh recently split from his successor, Jens Gustafsson. The Swede left on December 4 after only winning one of 11 games, leaving Guido Hoffmann in interim leadership.

Al Fateh's winless streak now stands at 13 games in all competitions after the German managed two games thus far, a 2-1 home loss to Al Wehda in their most recent match and a 2-2 draw against Al Shabab.
